Case Study

Building GlobeGlider: A Travel Blog Built with Content Strategy, SEO and Modern Web Tools

Problem

Our travel memories, notes, photos, and ideas were scattered across different places. I wanted one structured home for real travel stories, practical guides, and destination planning — not another folder of half-finished drafts.

Solution

I built GlobeGlider as a content-first travel blog with a clear structure for blog posts, destinations, categories, newsletter signup, and future growth. Each trip can become a story, a guide, or a destination card without losing the personal tone.

Stack

Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, GitHub, Vercel, Cursor, ChatGPT, and AI-assisted workflows for drafting, editing, and shipping content faster.

Skills demonstrated

  • Frontend development and responsive UI
  • Content architecture and editorial workflows
  • SEO basics, metadata, and sitemap planning
  • Routing, internal linking, and category structure
  • AI-assisted execution without losing a human voice

Outcome

A live travel blog with real posts, a destination structure, category browsing, newsletter signup, and an expandable content system I can keep building on trip by trip.

What I learned

The most useful projects combine storytelling, structure, and shipping. GlobeGlider taught me how to turn travel notes into useful pages, keep SEO practical rather than overwhelming, and use modern tools to move from idea to live post without losing what makes the writing feel personal.
